40 Years of the Berwickshire Marine Reserve

Ayliffe from our team attended the Berwickshire Marine Reserve’s (BMR) 40th birthday celebrations in St Abbs on the 18th of August 2024.

SBCAN are happy to have been able to support the amazing educational work BMR are doing in Berwickshire.

Well done to the team at BMR at for organising such a brilliant event with an action-packed program of events and activities which showcased what there is to offer along the Berwickshire coast.

News from the network: Roamers Wood

Roamers Wood is a community woodland located beside the Scottish Borders village of West Linton. It has been developed for the community by the charity Sustainable West Linton and District (SWLD), on land gifted to the charity on a 50-year lease. SWLD is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation community group founded in 2019. It was established to promote steps that the village and surrounding district could take as a community to become more environmentally sustainable.
