Stow Disruptors: Life on Land

For the final session of their block on the Sustainable Development Goal 15 ‘Life on Land’, SBCAN team member Ayliffe, went along to find out what they’ve been up to.

Held at the Haining with the incredibly knowledgeable Lisa McLeish, Biodiversity Officer for Bright Green Nature, the Disruptors were exploring the importance of rewilding and encouraging biodiversity.

The perfect mix of learning and fun, the young people, found and identified bugs and beasties living in the grasses of the Deer Park, learnt about how to identify a badgers set and recognise signs of use, found some otter prints down by the pond, and much more.

A big thank-you to Debbie and the Disruptors for making us feel so welcome, we look forward to hearing what’s coming next.
