Act for change: Real wood studios

Real wood teamed up with Borders Forest Trust to double their impact during Borders Act for Change month. What a day they had!

“The £250 grant paid for 250 native broadleaf trees and our group of 5 more than matched this value by volunteering their time and energy to plant them all! We teamed up with Borders Forest trust for a beautiful day of planting on their Gameshope Valley site. BFT own the site and are running an ambitious long-term habitat restoration project on the land. Together we planted 740 trees which will directly benefit wildlife and visitors of all ages for decades to come as well as making a valuable contribution in the fight against climate change. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and hope to make this an annual commitment.”
