Act for change: Newcaslteton primary school

So pleased to hear how Newcastleton Primary school got on as part of our act for change month. They involved the wider community in their efforts and inspired many others to join them! Read on to hear more.

“Our ECO committee (consisting of children from ELC-P7) organised a community litter pick. Children were split into groups and some members of the community joined in too. Each group had an area of our village to clean and sorted rubbish into whether it was recyclable or not as they picked it up. We found lots of rubbish! Our ECO committee will be organising another community litter pick in the near future and are hoping more members in the community join in.”
