Chris Booth will offer a day workshop introducing participants to the Work that Reconnects, a set of tools that help us all face the existential threats of the climate emergency, as well as find and play our role in the collective transition towards a society and way of being that support the flourishing of life.
The Work, based on the teachings of Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone, follows a spiral of practices: Gratitude, Honouring Our Pain for the World, Seeing with New/Ancient Eyes, and Going Forth. Within an atmosphere of safety and trust, the workshop offers a selection of group exercises to engage participants, encourage conversation and sharing as we move through the stages of the spiral together.
Teas, coffees, refreshments and sweet treats will be provided. We do ask that you bring your own lunch.
