Farm Wildlife walk

Two years ago the Farm Advisory Service launched the Farm Wildlife Walks initiative, an attempt to promote grass-roots conversations around nature conservation and the positive impacts of nature-friendly farming practices.

Join us at Mountbenger in the Yarrow Valley where the beef and sheep enterprises are managed in a landscape rich in wildlife habitats. We’ll visit hedgerows, field margins, wetlands, habitat mosaics and ponds and discuss the value of having all of these habitats linked together for the benefit of wildlife.

Location: Mountbenger, Yarrow, Selkirk TD7 5LE
