Borders act for change-greener duns repair cafe

Greener Duns held their first Repair Cafe on Saturday 1st February which was a great success. They reported 30 people through the door, 20 repairs & advice for those that needed spare parts. They mended a digital radio, wooden mobile, 4 sewing machines, a dress zip, 2 jackets, a draught excluder, a floor lamp, 3 food mixers, a wooden toy train…..

The Repair cafe has also genereated some action for nect week with parts arriving for future sessions in the coming weeks………

The Repair Cafe will continue on the first Saturday of the month so please get along to Duns with your repairs and spares!
